The following is a passage from scripture Pastor Monday wanted to share here:
“These in white robes – who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb… God will wipe away every tear from their eyes” — Revelation 7:13-14, 17b:
Dear Brother Scott Barefoot,
On behalf of the body of Christ, I can’t thank you enough for the work that you are doing here on this website and in your own personal ministry! Thank you for being there for all who are looking for answers from God in regard to all our struggles with LGBT issues. I believe this has become one of the fiercest battles for souls in our culture and in our time, and Christendom at large seems relatively unprepared to meet on the frontlines of this spiritual war with the weapons of absolute love and truth, taking all things captive to Christ. You, however, are well prepared, Scott, as you stand ready on the frontlines! You are an encouragement to us all!
You are teaching us that we can all be open with whatever struggles we wrestle with no matter the threats of God’s Law or the pharisaical glances of others! Most importantly, you are showing us that our Savior, Jesus Christ, has provided refuge in his work from all threats and created a safe community in the Church for all who struggle with any sin – all through the message of the Gospel of full forgiveness! You are bringing understanding to the reality of being a Christian, what the mortification of the flesh entails, and what it means to struggle in living the life of the new self!
Keep doing what you’re doing! May the Lord continue to bring more to the frontlines with you – pastors and lay people alike who have the heart of the Savior and seek all with the remedy of the Gospel, all who are feeling so lost and so sick of their sin! May more souls come to the understanding of what homosexuality really is – it is not the blessed life the world makes it out to be! May more souls, then, come to understand that their struggles with homosexuality are not something God is unable to deliver them from, even if the struggle remains for a lifetime! Jesus understands and so Jesus came to deliver each and every one of us and will ultimately do so when he returns with all the host of heaven in the end! Come, Lord Jesus! Bless all on the side of truth and love who struggle in this fight! Deliver your people from this evil hour!
Lifting High the Cross with You,
Rev. William A. Monday
